Artist Statement
What comes next in my creative life is not a conscious thought ~ the searching takes place in the day to day process.
The imagery of the horizon line replicates the vastness of space and there are so many ways to go. I paint with much thought and passion and most of all, a happy and grateful heart. Hopefully, I will intrigue the viewer in one way or another ~ with a gesture of paint, a balance of light or a sense of movement. If my work can dwell in the realm of semi abstract art enough of the time, then observers can take away from it their own vision and their own heart. Emotion and memories spark each other, and personal understanding prevails.
If you live in the New York/New Jersey Metropolitan Area, Studio Visits are Welcome.
